4 Nights/5 Days Classic Expedition
The central Kalahari game reserve is located within the Kalahari desert in the central Botswana. This is the largest, most remotely situated reserve in Southern Africa and the second largest wildlife reserve in the World, covering 52 800 sq kms. You would be amazed by its wild mysterious beauty. Dwarf trees, scrub bushes , wide empty pans and flat earth meeting blue sky will leave you in awe. Your day will be completed by a night sky dominated by a galaxy of stars. Deception valley in northern side of the park is an ancient riverbed which after good rains attracts diversity of wildlife. This is not a merely a sandy geographic ecosystem but a t truly balanced ecosystem with adapted flora and fauna.
Day 1 : : Central Kalahari game reserve
You would be picked up by your guide around 0500hrs- 0530hrs from the lodge or hotel. There after you will embark on a journey to Matswere gate (entrance gate to Central Kalahari game reserve). They journey will take you about 7 hours with the first 78 kms on a tarmac road and the remaining 90 km as Sandy Road.
We would make a stopover along the way for lunch.
Upon entering the Matswere gate, we would do a slow game drive towards our designated wilderness camping site.
On arrival at the camp you would be welcomed by our team, and they would familiarize you with the camp set up and how everything works.
We would spend the next hours around camp to relax from the long drive and later on dinner would be served under the stars.
Day 2-4 : Game Drives & Excursions
Game drives around the Central Kalahari Game Reserve
A combination of both day excursions and short drives. The idea is to explore Deception Valley, Leopard Pan, Sunday Sans, Passarge Valley, Litiahau and Tau Pan.
Day 5 : Tour End
In the morning of this day you will wake up early in the morning and embarck on another 7 hours driver back to Maun.
You will do a slow game drive out of the reserve. Along the way we would stop for lunch and upon arrival at maun we would drop you at your hotel or lodge.
Time for transfer to the airport would be agreed upon arrival depending on your flight schedule.

On this shared tour you will join a group of other travellers. Max 8 people per vehicle
Single travelers can join this group tour, but it requires a minimum of 2 people to run.
